The spacious and cozy living room is air-conditioned and has a separate sitting and dining area. A wide sliding door leads directly to the sun terrace and pool. The semi-open kitchen is extensively equipped with built-in appliances and complete inventory, including a washer and dryer in the pantry. The villa has a separate work area and a high-speed Internet connection (fiber optic). The television has streaming functions and this makes it possible to watch apps from your phone or tablet directly on the screen of the television. For this you use your own accounts.
The master bedroom in the villa has a private bathroom (bathtub and separate shower) with large wardrobe. An additional guest toilet is also available. Attached to the villa are two fully equipped guest rooms, each with its own entrance, which is ideal as this ensures privacy for all guests. (Note: these rooms are not accessible from inside and are therefore less suitable for small children).
Guest House 1: The Hotel Suite is a spacious suite with private bathroom, wardrobe, air conditioning and terrace.
Guesthouse 2: The Tower Room is a summer room with cozy sun terrace including a magnificent sea view.
There are a total of 6 fixed beds and for a 7th / 8th person a folding bed is added in one of the bedrooms. The guesthouses are never rented separately because they belong completely to the villa.
On the cozy sun terrace are generous sunbeds with a full-width fixed mosaic bench where you can relax. For cooling down there is of course the private swimming pool (8x4m) which you can conveniently enter via built-in stairs and on the patio is an outdoor shower. The covered terrace is equipped with a fine outdoor table and lounge set where you can enjoy your meals and drinks together. For extra shade there is an electrically operated sunshade and this provides even more atmosphere on a sultry summer evening.
Surrounding the villa is a landscaped garden, complete with lemon and orange trees, on a plot of about 1500m2. The private driveway offers parking for 1 car but directly in front of the villa are several free parking spaces. Villa Mas Fumats is located in the quiet urbanization El Mas Fumats in Roses just 5 minutes from the bustling center and beach of Roses and Santa Margarita. This beach destination is also close to the Cap de Creus nature reserve and is surrounded by beautiful coves and cozy coastal towns such as Cadaqués and Empuriabrava. A prime location in an exclusive area with many tourist amenities.
Besides a busy bocce court, the urbanization El Mas Fumats has a small restaurant where you can have a nice meal and in the morning they sell fresh bread rolls. A couple of large supermarkets (Lidl, Carrefour and Mercadona) are 3 minutes away by car and a little further on is the first beach already with restaurants, breakfast stores and stores. You can park well anywhere and if you drive in the other direction you go towards the white fishing village of Cadaqués and you will be surprised with a unique route through the nature reserve of Cap de Creus. This area has everything to offer and you will never get bored here!
Figueres (15 km away) is a typical Spanish town with a real Rambla and is best known for the surrealist painter Salvador Dalí. A visit to his world-famous museum is well worthwhile but there is much more to do in Figueres. On Saturday mornings there is a large fruit and vegetable market in town but the stores and restaurants, including a few cozy tapas bars, are open until late in the evening. Fun fact is that Bakery Maia (in the center) sells a special Dalí bread which you see in multiples on the red facade of the Dalí museum in Figueres.
Cities like Barcelona and Girona are easily accessible because with the TGV / high-speed train you can be in beautiful old Girona in less than 15 minutes and in just 50 minutes you are in the heart of downtown Barcelona.
