The attractive and complete interior of Villa Marijn can be called unique and the practical layout provides even more comfort. The living room has a spacious sitting area with separate dining area and the sliding doors give access to the outdoor terrace and garden. The semi-open kitchen has two worktops and is equipped with all built-in appliances with an extensive kitchen inventory. There is a bookcase full of books and magazines, and for children there are fun games available. High-speed internet (fiber optic) is arranged and the television has streaming features. This makes it possible to watch apps from your phone or tablet directly on the screen of the television using your own accounts. Villa Marijn receives a lot of care and attention and you will notice that because every detail has been thought of.
On the first floor, the first bedroom has air conditioning and private bathroom. The other three double bedrooms are upstairs (two of them with air conditioning) and these share a large bathroom. All rooms have two comfortable box-spring beds, closet space and blinds, and upstairs is another room's own terrace.
The outdoor terrace has a large dining table accompanied by a lounge set where you can relax. The garden is fully fenced and a few large trees provide plenty of shade and privacy.
The pool (8x4m) is luxuriously finished with built-in stairs and full-width bench, which is extra enjoyable! On the associated sun terrace are a few nice sunbeds with side tables and at night the pool is beautifully illuminated.
Parking is available on site, the gated driveway has an electrically operated entrance gate. (Max 1 car) In front of the door are additional parking spaces.

Villa Marijn is located in a quiet residential area (Mas Pau) just outside Avinyonet de Puigventós. Centrally located and near numerous other villages and famous seaside resorts. Just 3 minutes away is the prestigious Torremirona Golf & Spa Resort. Want to spend a day at the beach? Or an intimate cove? Popular seaside resorts nearby (20-25 minutes) are Cadaqués, Roses, Empuriabrava and L'Escala.
The urbanization Mas Pau has a café & mini supermarket where you can also pick up sandwiches in the morning. Nearby are several large supermarkets. Directly behind the house is a hiking area with child-friendly zone including playgrounds and soccer field.
However, the area has much more to offer because just 3 minutes away is the prestigious Torremirona Golf & Spa Resort. (Navata) In addition to a beautifully landscaped 18-hole golf course, for example, there is a large sports and wellness center, with a wide range of activities and sports for all ages. (Fitness, tennis, spa zone, kids club, hairdresser & beautician) At the resort there are two restaurants and a luxury hotel. The green surroundings are beautiful and it offers a lot of culture in other nearby villages such as, for example, Besalú and Peralada.
Around the corner is Figueres, a typical Spanish town with Rambla and lively stores but best known for the painter Salvador Dalí. A visit to his world famous museum is well worthwhile. On Saturday mornings there is a market, and everything is open until late in the evening. Go get a special 'Dalí bread' at Maia bakery, or taste real tapas in a tapas bar.
Cities such as Barcelona and Girona are easily accessible. With the TGV / high-speed train (5 minutes away from Villa Marijn) you are in the heart of Barcelona in just 50 minutes (Girona 15 minutes).
Villa Marijn is a comfortable house and offers a good home base for a family vacation on the Costa Brava.
